The IMSE offers Orton-Gillingham teacher development programs for special education teachers, general education teachers, and parapros. The IMSE's Orton-Gillingham training is a multi-sensory phonics based program which offers material which can be added to your current curriculum. This will provide comprehensive phonics instruction for your students. IMSE specializes in teacher development, reading workshops, inservice sessions, curriculum development, and parent trainings. IMSE's teacher development programs in Orton-Gillingham are aimed at early intervention to decrease the number of students who are struggling with reading, writing, and spelling when they enter the third grade. IMSE programs also are well suited for remediation of students who have fallen behind or who have dyslexia, learning disabilities, or other impairments preventing their reading development. IMSE also offers "Sensational Strategies for Teaching Beginning Readers" for parents to use with their children.
